New TSA Rules for U.S. Military Close CheapOair Staff November 30, 2011 general TSA Helping Military Help Others Faster U.S. military members will most likely be gaining quicker security screening in the nation’s airports. The only thing pending is approval from the Senate. The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed quicker screener for the military by a vote of 404 to 0. The act is called H.R. 1801, a.k.a “Risk-Based Security Screening for Members of The Armed Forces Act.” Once approved, it will take six months for the act to be in place. Transporation Security Administration (TSA) spokesman, Greg Soule, commented on the report saying the agency all ready permits military members to keep their foot apparel on while passing check points.
