A Disney vacation is supposed to be a relaxing escape from the stresses of everyday life.  Anyone who has visited a Disney park on a hot summer day, however, will tell you that is not always the case.

Long lines, hidden bathrooms, and lost family members can quickly turn a care-free day at the park into anything but. Thankfully, a new mobile app from Disney aims to alleviate some of the more stressful parts of your family’s dream vacation.

The newly-released Mobile Magic App comes pre-loaded with GPS-enabled maps that can help users pinpoint roving family members, find directions to the nearest attractions, and keep tabs on the closest Disney characters. Regular updates provide up-to-the-minute information on weather reports and wait-times for popular rides.

App users can access shuttle and monorail schedules in seconds and even track of their car’s location so the nighttime trek to the parking lot doesn’t turn into the day’s biggest adventure.

The free app is currently available exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers and operates smoothly on most available smart phones. The first official application from Disney parks, Mobile Magic is a must-download for all those soon hopping on flights to Orlando.
