Thousands of travelers will converge on the LA Convention Center

The Los Angeles Times Travel Show returns to the LA Convention Center at the end of January and the travel world is already buzzing about this year’s festivities.

Today, officials announced the full schedule of expert speakers, hands-on activities, and world-class performances set to take place at the 14th annual gathering.

Officials also showed off a free mobile guide to the event that will be available to visitors for the first time. The app puts a digital map in the hands of attendees and calls attention to special prizes and giveaways in real-time.

Travelers lucky enough to score cheap flights to Los Angeles in time for the conference can attend the public show for just $10 on January 28 and 29.

Limited registration is still available for the industry trade show on January 27. That event costs $30. For more information, visit www.latimes.com/travelshow.
