New 9/11 Memorial at NYC’s World Trade Centre

9/11 was an event that shook New York, America and the world. 10 years on and with the unveiling of the outstanding memorial, it’s well worth taking a day to pay homage to the victims of 9/11 when visiting New York City.

The 9/11 memorial, which opened to the public at the end of 2011, is a free-ticketed memorial featuring two impressive fountains that stand in the footprints of the Twin Towers. In just fourth months the site has welcomed it’s over a million visitors.
