Readers of Conde Nast Traveler picked Edinburgh, Scotland as Britain's best city in a recent poll compiled by the magazine.

Citing its "culture" and "user-friendliness", Edinburgh beat out last year's winner London. This is the third time Edinburgh was named the "best city" since the awards started in 1989.

Conde Nast asked their readers to vote and score each city on a scale of 0-100 with such categories as culture, value for money and service.
