JetBlue will provide nonstop flights from Boston to Phoenix starting in September, the carrier announced Tuesday.

Based in New York, JetBlue has been increasing service at Boston’s Logan International Airport as it tries to become well-established in the Northeast.

JetBlue Airways Corp. is offering fares starting at $99 one-way for flights on the new nonstop route.
