A red-brick Gregorian building constructed in 1732, Independence Hall is commonly referred to as the birthplace of American freedom.

From 1775 to 1783 Independence Hall served as the principle meeting place for the Second Continental Congress. Inside its brick walls, the Founding Fathers debated and drafted the two most important documents in the history of the United States of America: the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.

Its regal bell tower served as the original home of the famed Liberty Bell which now lies across the street in the state-of-the-art Liberty Bell Center.
