Montana has the deadlest roads in America

For years I have had people that visit my home town of New York City tell me how scary and crazy the roads are here. Well a new report should put them, and others who frequent the Big Apple, at ease…well at least a little bit.

According to data compiled by Reader’s Digest, Montana has the most dangerous roads out of all 50 U.S. states. The list was put together by the number of fatalities per miles driven.

So where else should you look both ways (twice) before crossing the street? Joining Montana in the top five most dangerous roads were Louisiana, South Carolina, West Virginia and Arkansas. In case you were wondering, New York was ranked 45.

The report also covered the best roads (quality wise) and the state with the deadliest DUI and speeding accidents.
