After a meeting with Florida Governor Charlie Crist, JetBlue CEO Dave Barger seemed to be flying high (or is that jetting high?) about the possibility of moving the low-cost carrier's headquarters from New York to the Sunshine State.

While the move would have no affect on JFK Airport's Terminal 5, it would mean that nearly 800 jobs would be transferred to Florida.

While the earliest JetBlue could move down south is 2012, Barger said to expect an announcement on where their final destination for an HQ would be by this March.

Many airline analysts feel that this is simply a ploy by Barger and JetBlue to get more incentives from the Big Apple.

New York officials have vowed to keep JetBlue, and its hundreds of jobs, in Queens.
