Millennium Park:
On your next trip to Chicago, be sure to fit in some time to spend a few hours at beautiful Millennium Park. This popular hangout to locals and visitors, located in the historical downtown Loop
section of the Windy City, provides many great attractions. One in particular called Cloud Gate (although most people just call it “The Bean”) is a great public display of art that was sculpted by Indian-born British artist Anish Kapoor. Willis Tower Skydeck (formerly Sears Tower): Located on the 103^rd floor of this “Second City” landmark building, the Skydeck at Willis Tower offers visitors incredible views panoramic views. Not only can you get a bird’s eye view of the city of Chicago, but on a clear day you can see the rest of Illinois as well as Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Thrill seekers can take a walk on the all-new “Ledge”, which is a glass box that extends 4.3 feet from the skyscraper. There is also much more to do than just look out the window when visiting. Lincoln Park Zoo: Open year-round and free to the public, this 35-acre animal abode has been located in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago since 1868. The zoo includes reptiles, gorillas, penguins, monkeys, and more than 1,200 other types of animals. The zoo offers two separate areas for children called “Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo” and the John Deere sponsored “Farm-in-the-Zoo.” 2001 North Clark Street

Chicago Children’s Museum: Although children’s museum can be found in any major city across the country, Chicago can lay claim as being the first. Opened in 1982, Chicago Children’s Museum is the perfect place to take the kids for a lazy afternoon. Not only do the rug rats get to play at the interactive attractions, but they will also gain valuable knowledge at the same time. Chicago River Cruise: This is by far the best way to view Chicago’s amazing architecture up close. As you glide down the river that splits the Windy City in two, look around at all the
