As Another Snowstorm Looms, Airlines Issue Waivers CheapOair Staff February 9, 2010 general Another round with Mother Nature is on the horizon as the Midwest and Northeast prepare to get walloped with a sizable amount of the white stuff starting late Tuesday night. In preparation of the inevitable airport delays and cancellations, airlines are offering waivers for customers looking to back out of their travel plans on Wednesday. American Airlines is now issuing customers travel waivers to or from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin Feb. 8-10. United Airlines is allowing passengers traveling Feb. 9-10 to or from certain Midwest airports and Feb. 10-11 to or from certain Northeast airports to rebook without any consequences.
