Yellow Stone National Park booms in attendance

 

Over 2.5 million tourists visited Yellowstone National park over June, July and August this summer season.

 

Nearly 3.3 million people visited Yellowstone National Park in all of 2009, topping the previous 2007 record by close to five percent.

 

Business has been booming for the nine hotels and other restaurants and gift shops operated by the park’s largest concessionaire, Xanterra Parks & Resorts.
