Chamundi Hills
The identifier of Mysore, Chamundi Hill is famous for the Chamunbdi Temple built in the 11th century and has been renovated from time to time. Karanji Lake
Flowing at the foot of the famous Chamundi Hills, Karanji Lake was constructed by Karanji - the king of Mysore. It is a 90-acre water body and is among the largest lakes in Karnataka. Karanji Lake has become a shelter for the migratory birds. On the bank of the lake, there is a scenic park having a huge enclosure for migratory birds. This enclosure is the largest of its kind in the country.
