KC Fountains

Kansas City is often referred to as the “City of Fountains,” and for good reason: There are at least 200 registered fountains in the metropolitan area, many of which are adorned with gorgeous sculptures. You can take a self-guided tour throughout the city or charter a horse-drawn carriage to explore the 32 fountains downtown.

Kauffman Stadium

Home to the Kansas City Royals, Kauffman Stadium is celebrated for being one of the oldest ballparks in the nation as well as opposing the trend of multi-purpose sports arenas — this is a place for baseball only. Kauffman Center for Performing Arts

Built in 2011, the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts is undoubtedly the jewel of Kansas City performing fine arts. Its two stages — the Muriel Kauffman Theater and the Helzberg Hall — are home to the Kansas City Ballet, Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Kansas City Symphony. You can also catch touring entertainers, comedy shows and more.
