San Bernardino National Wildlife RefugeSituated on the headwaters of the River Rio Yaqui, the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge was set up with the aim of recovering native fish in the river. The Refuge serves as a migratory corridor for the wildlife species in between the mountain of Mexico and Arizona. San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge is home to variety of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and more. The refuge is also famous for its vast and expansive diversity of bees in the world. Border Air MuseumThe Border Air Museum was gifted by Irma Westbrook, the widow of the Richard Westbrook, in 2002 to the city of Douglas. Richard died before the completion of the museum. The couple established the museum to house the collection of air history which was the result of the Richard's research work of numerous years. The collection here comprises of Photos, Letter of the President Roosevelt (United States), Photographs of the original airplane, newspaper articles, a Trojan airplane (built in Douglas), and artifacts related to city's association with American Airlines, maps, and more.
