The Bowers Museum is one of the famous attractions of Santa Ana. The museum has been named after Charles Bowers as the land was donated by him. Opened around 1936, the museum was originally constructed in the Mission Revival architectural style. It also holds a beautiful collection of Pre-Columbian and Native American art.
Lyon Air Museum
Situated next John Wayne Airport, the Lyon Air Museum was set up by Major General William Lyon. It serves as a home to several military aircrafts from World War II, vehicles, and motorcycles. Also housed here are some rare vintage automobiles & related war memorabilia. Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Cessna O-1E Bird Dog, and a Douglas C-47 Skytrain are part of the museum's collection.
