Charminar
Charminar is a landmark monument of Hyderabad built by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in 1591. Shah was the founder of Hyderabad. The four minarets of this monument soar to an elevation of 48.7 meters. The monument boasts 45 prayer spaces and a mosque. Travelers can enjoy the architectural magnificence inside the monument, which is illuminated in the evenings.
Golconda Fort
Golconda Fort, one of the most famous forts in the country, has its origin dating back to the Yadava Dynasty of Deogiri and the Kakatiyas of Warangal. The fort is famous for its ingenious water supply system, palaces, acoustics, and Fateh Rahben gun, which is one of the cannons used at the time of the quest to seize Golconda by Aurangzeb.
Qutb Shahi Tombs
Located somewhat one kilometer away from Banjara Darwaza of the Golconda Fort, Qutb Shahi Tombs are the tombs of the well-known Qutb Shahi kings and were planned and constructed by the Qutb Shahis themselves. Qutb Shahi Tombs are believed to be the oldest monuments in the city and form a large group and are positioned on a raised platform. The structural design of these tombs displays the use of Pathan, Hindu, and Persian way of architecture.

My wife, Jessica, and our 19-year-old daughter traveled to Prague from Dec 4–11 and had an incredible experience! We decided to upgrade to Comfort Seating, which was well worth the extra cost for the added comfort, especially for a longer trip. However, I wish we didn’t have to pay extra to select seats so my wife and daughter could sit together—it would be great if that were included in the base price.
