This French Gothic Revival masterpiece was elevated to a basilica by Pope John Paul II during his visit to the United States in 1995.
Oheb Shalom (Prince Street Synagogue)
Prince Street Synagogue is the oldest surviving synagogue building in Newark. It was built for Oheb Shalom Congregation in 1884 and is considered a top-class example of Moorish Revival architectural style.
