Colorado State Capitol
Constructed in the 1890s, the Colorado State Capitol was opened in the year 1894. It was designed by Elijah E. Myers. The Capitol serves home to the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, & Treasurer. Most of its windows are stained glass, depicting people and events related to the history of Colorado. On the 3rd floor are portraits of the presidents of the United States and other artwork.
