Fuerte de Santiago (or Fort Santiago)
A mark of Luzon’s formative years, Fort Santiago was built by Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legazpi as a landmark for the newly built city of Manila. Best Time to fly to Luzon
The best time to fly to Luzon is the dry season from November to April. It is so because the Philippines are an island country and in order to access all its islands and remote areas, it would be best to stay away from rains and storms as much as possible. One can get to enjoy the nationwide festival called Ati-Atihan in January. Budget travelers can visit the island in the wet season from May to October and can enjoy Flores de Mayo in May.

My trip was planned perfectly, from flight to accommodations. I'll be visiting again in the Spring and using CheapOair to plan again. Very satisfied! - Steven Dec 12, 2024
My first experience with CheapOair was very good! The reservations made to fly to Greece had smooth connections at each airport. I was hoping for the ability to watch the reservation price and adjust it as the trip got closer, but once I locked in my reservation, the price couldn’t be changed. Text messages from them were clear and kept me informed on the flight plan! I would rate this experience as very good. - Bette Dec 01, 2024
