Vikingholm is a 38-room mansion and one of the best signatures of signatures of Scandinavian architecture in the United States.

It is classic work of art by Mrs. Lora Josephine Knight who wanted a classic summer home for her family and had traveled extensively to Scandinavia to gather ideas for the same. She had also used much of the materials found at Lake Tahoe. It is flanked by the ‘Tea House’ on Fannette Island.
