National Archaeology Museum
The National Archaeological Museum is one of the most significant museum in the world and the largest in Greece. The museum was established with the aim to secure the 19th century excavations (from the Attica region & other parts of the country). At present findings from different era of Greek history are housed here. The collection of the museum comprises of more than 11,000 exhibits. Through its elaborate collection it becomes easy for visitors to have an inside view of the Greek Civilization starting from the prehistoric age. The building is a neoclassical structure and was built during the late 19th century.
Museum of Cycladic Art
In January 1986, the Museum of Cycladic Art opened its doors for the public and today it has become a living institution in Athens. Various exhibitions are organized in the museum showcasing archaeology and contemporary art. Apart from this several educational programs, creative activities for children & families, lectures, one-day conferences, seminars, and other events are also held here from time-to-time. At present, visitors can see the permanent collection of the museum in its galleries under Cycladic Art, Ancient Greek Art, and Ancient Cypriot Art.

Open-Air Cinemas or Summer Cinemas are an important part of summer nights in Athens.
