The Strip
Once you pass the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign along Las Vegas Boulevard South, it won’t be too long until you are cruising the Strip. Sin City’s notorious artery acts as the epicenter of any Vegas getaway. Here you will find Las Vegas’ most iconic landmarks, including the Bellagio Fountains, the Eiffel Tower at Paris, Las Vegas, the pyramid and sphinx belonging to The Luxor and The Venetian’s Grand Canal. The Strip technically runs from Mandalay Bay on the south end (home to an aquarium and a man-made beach) to the Stratosphere casino on the north end, where you will find the tallest free- standing observation tower in the country (this is where you will go for the perfect Vegas photo). Travelers say it is best to visit the Strip at night to see all the casinos and attractions light up in the desert.
Fremont Street
In old downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street is a pedestrian-only area with all kinds of unique sites. A five-block section of Fremont Street is covered over with a canopy of LED lights that illuminate the sky in a spectacle of different colors and designs as you walk below. Known as the Fremont Street Experience, each night a fantastic music and visual show takes place overhead. Street performers and special entertainment acts often perform outdoors in this area. Fremont Street is in downtown Las Vegas, a few kilometers from the Strip.

My wife, Jessica, and our 19-year-old daughter traveled to Prague from Dec 4–11 and had an incredible experience! They stayed at the Dominican Hotel, a charming and conveniently located spot in the heart of Prague. We booked the trip through CheapOair, bundling the hotel and airfare, and found it to be a great value overall. I was especially impressed with the convenience of using CheapOair—it made setting up the trip straightforward without needing a separate travel agent. Their flights were with TAP Air Portugal, and everything went smoothly. Flights were on time, and the airline provided excellent service. However, I wish we didn’t have to pay extra to select seats so my wife and daughter could sit together—it would be great if that were included in the base price.
