The Golkonda is situated in the region famous for some of the world's best known gems like the iconic Koh-i-Noor and the Hope Diamond.
Charminar
The Charminar (literally implying, Four Minarets) is the postcard and the most famous icon of Hyderabad and indeed of South India. It stands as a late 16th century monument that is topped with a mosque and is flanked by traditional markets that have been here for last 400 years. The Charminar is also called the Arc de Triomphe of the East for its splendid architecture.
Ramoji Film City
The Ramoji Film City is the Guinness World Record holder for being the largest film studio complex in the world. It is the largest integrated film city in the state of Telangana. It was founded by Ramoji Rao, a famous Indian businessman and film producer who was awarded Padma Vibhushan (India's second highest civilian honor) for his contributions in journalism and literature.
