National Museum of Pakistan

Established in 1950, National Museum of Pakistan has a basic purpose to collect, preserve, study, and put on exhibition the records of the cultural history of the country. The museum is home a collection of around 58,000 old coins and a plethora of well-preserved sculptures. There are approximately 70,000 books, publications, and other reading material of the Archeology and Museums Department. Every year, National Museum of Pakistan organizes about a dozen of exhibitions on National Days and other occasions.

Mohatta Palace

Characterized by Indo-Saracenic structural design, Mohatta Palace was built by Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta, who was a Hindu Marwari businessman from modern Rajasthan in India, in 1927 as his summer home. The palace is built in an area of around 1,720 square meters and its facade is trimmed with domes, stone brackets, windows, spandrels, beautiful railings, and balustrades with floral motifs. The palace remains closed on Mondays.

PAF Museum

Established in 1990, PAF Museum is an Air Force museum and park situated near Karsaz Flyover on Shahra-e-Faisal in Karachi. A bulk of weapons, radar, and aircraft are put on display outside in the park and the main museum boasts all major fighter aircraft that have been used by the Pakistan Air Force.
