Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebu
The Basilica Menor del Santo Nino de Cebú is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Philippines. It was founded in the 1565 and stands where an image of Santo Niño de Cebú, a statue of Child Jesus, was found. This icon was found 40 years later after it was presented by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan to the royal family on April 14, 1521.
Casa Gorordo Museum
The Casa Gorordo Museum in Cebu is a former private residence and a remarkable Spanish colonial mansion, mostly made of wood and featuring a well-manicured garden. Its lower floor is full of old tools and is often a scene of art exhibitions while its upper floor is the former residence of one of the richest families of 19th century- the Gorordo family. This floor has a few elaborately designed rooms that are all filled with artistically carved wooden furniture.

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted on the orders of Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan after his landing in Cebu in March 1521 AD. This cross is housed in an octagonal chapel and is believed to contain miraculous powers.
