Ground Transportation
The airport is located at a close driving distance of 19 kms from the city center. Counter of all major car rental companies including Avis, Budget and Hertz can be found at the Arrivals Hall. Book a rental car and take that perfect ride from the airport to Mecca and Medina. Alternatively, you can also hire taxis that are available at set rates according to the destination you wish to travel to. There are no Bus and Rail connection as of now at the airport as a means of Ground Transportation.
Terminal Features
King Abdulaziz International Airport serves as the gateway to Mecca, to cater the larger number of travelers during the peak Hajj season, there is a special terminal.
